Rules
We’re sure that we will have a great time working together this year, but to avoid any problems along the way, we’ve made a list of rules and responsibilities:
Please read them all before applying:
  1. As a KUNE Festival (2023) Volunteer, you are the face of the festival, and we want you to feel co-responsible for providing guests with the best possible experience. Make sure that you treat the festival audiences, guests, and other volunteers with care and respect, as well as stay proactive and look for solutions whenever any challenges arise.
  2. You have to be 21+ to be considered in the application.
  3. We will ask you for your full availability during the festival (July 19-23), throughout which you will be assigned 2x8 hours-long shifts.
  4. For reserving your spot as a volunteer you’ll be asked to pay a deposit of 1000 DKK, which will be returned after completing your shifts, in accordance to the rules, or after providing relevant reasons for your cancellation (sickness).
  5. Your attendance at the Volunteer Event (mid-June) will be requested*.
  6. During the festival shift, you will have an assigned Shift Coordinator who you should get in touch with in case any major challenge arises.
  7. You will be requested to show up to your shifts sober, and maintain it throughout your shift, in order to perform the best possible way.
  8. You will be requested to show up 20 min prior to your shift in order to check-in on your shift and after each of your shifts check-out (please make sure that you will familiarize yourself with our check-in/check-out system for this year’s festival, before coming to the island. We will provide you with all the information needed closer to the festival).
  9. As a volunteer you follow the same rules as everyone else in regard to bringing your own alcohol with you.
  10. If you are volunteering during festival days, we will ask that you pick up your T-shirt before starting your first shift and keep it clean and tidy for all your shifts duration.
In the event of the Volunteer not following the list rules, KUNE reserves the right of keeping a full or partial amount of the deposit or taking other appropriate measures.
*let us know if you can’t attend the Volunteers Event in your application, and we see if we can onboard you differently.
