By joining Production Crew you will be given great responsibility but also an opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people, and work together towards creating possibly the best festival on an island in Scandinavia.

the process
1. Apply to volunteer at KUNE Festival 2022 via a sign-up form.

2. We’ll review the applications and select the best matches.

3. And announce the results of recruitment to make the best matches with your skills and crew wishes.


4. You accept your spot by paying the deposit* within 7 days.



5. Upon receiving your deposit, we confirm your spot.



6. And the whole recruitment process will be closed with the Volunteer Event** on the Ungdomsøen.
Crew descriptions
Choose the crew that you think you'll be the best fit for. Please keep in mind though that you will not be permanently assigned to one crew for the whole production. It means that sometimes you might be asked to help out with different tasks depending on what is needed at the particular moment.

What do you get
Being a part of a volunteer crew will provide you with several benefits. You will:
  • Get a full festival ticket/pass
  • Food and drinks during all production days
  • Get 2 meal tickets (to be used at the festival)
  • Get 4 drink tickets (to be used at the festival)
  • Have an access to a HQ where you can rest, snacks, free coffee and use the kitchen
  • Attend a volunteer party at the island in June
  • Learn skills within event production (issuing a diploma on a request)
  • Make new friendships and extend your network
Rules
We’re sure that we will have a great time working together this year, but to avoid any problems along the way, we’ve made a list of rules and responsibilities:
Please read them all before applying:
  1. As a KUNE Festival (2023) Volunteer, you are the face of the festival, and we want you to feel co-responsible to provide guests with the best possible experience.
  2. You have to be 21+ to be considered in the application.
  3. You need to be available for all of the production days before the festival (14.-19.07.). Alternatively, you can join either the first (14.-16.07.) OR the second half (17.-19.07.) of Production, PLUS the takedown after the festival (24.-27.07.)
  4. For reserving your spot as a volunteer you’ll be asked to pay a deposit of 1000 DKK, which will be returned after completing your work during production or take down days, or after providing relevant reasons for your cancellation (sickness).
  5. Your attendance at the Volunteer Event (mid-June) will be requested*.
  6. You will be requested to show up to your shifts sober, and maintain it throughout your shift, in order to perform the best possible way.
  7. As a volunteer you follow the same rules as everyone else in regard to bringing your own alcohol with you to the festival days.
*let us know if you can’t attend the Volunteers Event in your application, and we see if we can onboard you differently.
